Rubber O Rings
The most common and simplest types of seal with excellent sealing properties and durability. Used in engines and gearboxes, also found in anything from shower heads to an aircraft, garden hoses and pumps etc., They can be used as face to face gasket style seals or as shaft seals and allow both rotary and linear movement. They have a 70 Shore hardness and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +120°C. Highly resistant to many chemicals, petroleum, diesel, LPG etc.

An O ring is a simple form of rubber seal. It closes off a gap between two surfaces so that liquids or gases cannot pass through in any direction. It is usually made from an elastomer; a viscous and elastic polymer that is a synthetic rubber or it may be formed from some other kind of thermoplastic material such as PTFE that is able to return to its original shape after being compressed.
